Decorative Antique 1938 Wooden Ice Box Door Handle Catch

This original vintage 1938 dated decorative wooden ice box door handle latch measures 5 1/2" long. The handle pull itself doesn't seem to want to move but the latch part does however but we didn't try to force the handle.
