Rare Antique Lincoln Shock Absorbers Official Service Station Advertising Sign

This is a rare antique advertising sign for Lincoln shock absorbers on painted tin in a wooden frame. It depicts an image of a Lincoln penny in the center with images of shocks absorbers on either side. It reads Official Service Station across the top and snubs the rebound which was their slogan along the bottom. This sign is almost assuredly one of a kind commissioned by an early gas station to be done by a local sign painter. It is hand painted and as you can see in the photos there is paint loss throughout the sign along with wear to the wood frame but it still displays nice and has rich coloring. The sign measures about 72" long by 24" in height and the frame is 1 1/2" thick. Circa 1920
