Old Antique Oak Midland Jump Spark Cigar Lighter General Store

This is an original antique Midland jump spark cigar lighter made by Davenport Manufacturing Company out of Davenport, Iowa. It is a model L and is housed in a quarter sawn oak cabinet. It operates by depressing the front handle which ignites the flame to light your cigar. This particular one has a wooden coil inside as we found it and we did not test it or the wire. We typically have used a dry cell to power a couple that we have owned in the past which works well. The cabinet is beautiful other than the front corner at the base has a chip of wood off of it and it measures about 15" in height.
