Antique A. Davy Spring Lane Sheffield Bowie Knife & Sheath Civil War Era

This antique Civil War era bowie knife is maker marked A. Davy from Spring Lane Sheffield in England. The handle which is probably made of horn material is cracked and is missing the pommel. The sheath is in two pieces but just finding the sheath at all is unusual with alot of these early knives. The knife overall measures about 12 1/2" in length. Circa 1850s
